We offer premium strength lumber products, from MSR to Dimensional lumber and timbers, with some of the strongest fine grain softwoods available anywhere in the world. Our lumber is used in a variety of building methods, including truss manufacturing, industrial access and rig mats, framing and construction, appearance and industrial timbers, and pallet and crating materials.
We produce high-quality stress graded dimensional lumber designed for framing and general construction. We use a combination of visual grading and laser technology to ensure consistent grading across all our lumber products. Kalesnikoff grades according to the National Lumber Grades Authority (NKLGA) and is audited by the Council of Forest Industries (COFI). See below for dimensional lumber sizes available.

Kalesnikoff produces industry-leading lamstock lumber in Douglas Fir, Western Larch, SPF and Western Hemlock. Only the finest dimensional lumber meets our lamstock standard. Rigorously graded for both exceptional strength and very tight defect tolerances.
From our log selection through to our manufacturing strategies, we optimize specifically for lamstock throughout our production centers. With more than 30 years of experience perfecting our process, we provide a leading high-performance product where strength, size and stability are essential.
We produce an L3 & Btr, based on customer feedback we are approximately 40% or greater L1 graded stock. In addition, we can also provide E- Rated lamstock upon request.

Kalesnikoff’s timbers are widely used in the construction of homes, bridges, tundra mats, and rail ties. Our location in the Kootenay Wet-belt enables us to produce some of the highest quality Douglas Fir timbers on the market. Kalesnikoff’s premium timbers yield a high percentage of Select Structural grade products thanks to our fine grain, small intergrown knot fiber.
