CNC Finishing Operator


Role & Objectives:

The CNC Operator position is responsible for precise programming, operation and coordination of our two state-of-the-art CNC machines:

1.    Uniteam CLT 400, dual spindle gantry CNC machine

2.    Uniteam CK 18 beam CNC machine


Ensure all timber panels and beams are milled with precision and to the highest quality to meet our customers’ expectations. Manage and coordinate production flow through both CNC machines to meet delivery schedules
Manage machine interface between CADworks and DDX software platforms
Conduct QC on machine-cut parts to ensure the accuracy of the specified drawings.
Maintain all equipment and tooling to ensuring high uptime performance. Perform regular inspections and calibrations of the machine to ensure precision accuracy
Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations


Previous experience operating 5 axis CNC machines
A passion for timber, carpentry experience
Experience reading and interpreting plans/designs.
Experience with computer modelling such as CADWorks, Autocad, Revit, Solidworks, DDX, etc.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines and maintain strict control over customer data files and revisions.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
The CNC Operator is a salaried position and will be an integral part of our Kalesnikoff team.
